Wendy Jenkin

(Clinical Psychologist - Independent Practitioner)


Wendy first registered as a Psychologist in 1996 and completed her Master of Psychology (Clinical) degree at Flinders University in 1997.  She then worked in child and adolescent mental health services in South Australia for seven years, both as a clinician and in a management position.  A move to the United Kingdom followed and Wendy worked as a Clinical Psychologist for the National Health Service (NHS) in Glasgow for six years and had the opportunity to further develop her clinical skills.  While living in the United Kingdom she underwent further clinical training and gained recognition as a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with the British Psychological Society.  She is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and a member of the Clinical College of the Australian Psychological Society.   

 

Since returning to live in Australia in 2009 Wendy has continued to work with adolescents and young adults with the aim of assisting them  to overcome barriers which may be affecting their ability to fulfil their potential.
